IntelŽ OpenCL* SDK is an Alpha software release. It is an implementation of the OpenCL* 1.1 standard optimized for IntelŽ CoreTM processors, running on Microsoft* Windows* 7 and Windows Vista* operating systems.

This alpha release of the IntelŽ OpenCL SDK supports the following OpenCL* 1.1 optional features and extensions:

   1. Out-of-order Execution model
   2. Execution of native kernels
   3. Image support
   4. Complier optimization options
   5. Double precision floating point support
   6. Creating OpenCL* context from an OpenGL context or share group
   7. Sharing memory objects with OpenGL* or OpenGL* ES buffers, texture and render bugger objects

The IntelŽ OpenCL SDK contains optimizations that require the IntelŽ Streaming
SIMD Extensions 4.1 (IntelŽ SSE 4.1) instruction set. It will work on the following
CPU’s, all of which contain IntelŽ SSE 4.1 or higher
       IntelŽ CoreTM i7 Processors
       IntelŽ CoreTM i5 Processors
       IntelŽ CoreTM i3 Processors
       IntelŽ XeonŽ Processors, 5500 series
       IntelŽ XeonŽ Processors, 7400 series
       Quad-Core IntelŽ XeonŽ Processor 5400, 3300 series
       Dual-Core IntelŽ XeonŽ Processor, 5200, 3100 series
IntelŽ CoreTM 2 Extreme Processor, 9000 series
IntelŽ CoreTM 2 Quad Processor, 9000 series
IntelŽ CoreTM 2 Duo Processor, 8000 series
IntelŽ CoreTM 2 Duo Processor E7200

The IntelŽ OpenCL SDK 1.1 supports the following operating systems:
       Microsoft* Windows* 7 (32-bit version)
       Microsoft* Windows* 7 (64-bit version)
       Microsoft* Windows Vista* (32-bit version)
       Microsoft* Windows Vista* (64-bit version)
