Title: Hello Mandelbulbers!
Post by: mario837 on November 03, 2010, 02:48:02 PM
This is, just as politeness rules require, a brief presentation of myself to the forum.
I have been doing fractals for quite some time now.  Since my first 8 hours 300x300 renders in Fractint with my Hercules card, then to WinFract, Fractal Explorer, Apophysis and just this year, Mandelbulb 3D.
The Mandelbulb experience has no match in any 2D way of doing fractals, software generated or not. So I plan to spend quite a lot of time attempting to produce something interesting to show.
As for personal information, I was born three times: in 1940 delivered by my mother, in 1973 after a 3-way by-pass operation that prevented me from going to the dark side and more recently this year 2010 when I had a ventricular arrhythmia usually producer of sudden death that I was able to avoid. And I don't want to bore you with the rest.  So, I am quite lucky to be here.  :D
Should any of you is interested in taking a look at my work, my dA page is http://mario837.deviantart.com/
Cheers!
Mario

Hello and Welcome   O0

Amazing - somebody older than me around here!

I had a look at your Deviant Art page you linked to, and it sure has some nice stuff.  Congratulations on winning that Apophysis Challenge   :elvis:

Great job.

You should post some in our gallery here.
