Title: Maximum Zoom Factor
Post by: The Rev on October 17, 2010, 03:20:00 AM
Is there a max zoom factor for M3D?

I ask because I'm doing a zoom in animation on an object, and after about 10, the view doesn't get any closer to the object.  The colors, however become more complex.  Here's a screenshot of my animator window (the zoom factors are noted above each key frame):

They're kinda small, but you can see where the zoom doesn't get any closer, but there are clearly more stripes of color on the object.  Should I be changing the Zmid number to get super close up, instead? Thanks.

The zoom factor belongs only to the size of the viewplane, so just changing it without navigating closer
to the object does not zoom very far.

So don't take only the zoom factor like in 2D into account...
