Title: Uploading Avatars Post by: The Rev on September 26, 2010, 11:15:50 PM I keep getting the red X whenever I try to upload an avatar. The image I used was 80x80. Is that too large? Any help is appreciated.
Thanks, The Rev Title: Re: Uploading Avatars Post by: Sockratease on September 26, 2010, 11:51:47 PM I just had a peek at the settings - I recall a discussion about this in the past, but forget how it was resolved!
The forum is set to accept avatars of 80 x 80 - that is the limit set, but I could not locate the setting for filesize limit. There may even be an issue with the directory it's uploading to! Did you get an "Upload Successful" message? An external image host - or even uploading it to the Gallery, may be easier options! I'd suggest your own user gallery for it - everybody gets one, and you could in theory, upload a vast array and change them out periodically...
