Title: "Fractal Gardens" by Legge Lewis Legge
Post by: Nahee_Enterprises on September 13, 2010, 10:57:02 AM
Legge Lewis Legge (http://www.leggelewislegge.com/) has created groups of low planters on wheels that can be rolled and arranged into infinite patterns.   The set consists of seven planters comprising three different shapes and plantings.   Each "diamond" contains two angles that are multiples of 1/14th of 360°, allowing the pieces to fit together both symmetrically and asymmetrically.

They have been exhibited at different locations within Canada.   See the following link for further details and photographs showing some of these arrangements:

I wouldn't consider these 'fractal gardens'..its rolling around geometrical boxes to form patterns (that can have fractal characteristics. or not)
a naturally grown forest or garden is in my opinion so much more fractal..

I wonder why this (and the other 2 on top in this category) is marked 'sticky'?

You should take up your limited considerations with those that came up with such naming.   Which is probably Legge Lewis Legge himself, as that is what he calls it own his website at:  http://inhabitat.com/fractal-gardens-can-be-rolled-and-arranged-into-infinite-patterns/ (http://inhabitat.com/fractal-gardens-can-be-rolled-and-arranged-into-infinite-patterns/).
     :stickingouttongue:
He most likely referred to it under that phrasing when he was interviewed by Legris Sylvain, so the article was published on the www.http://inhabitat.com web pages with such a title.

And I guess you are going to go around to all of my over 2,240+ postings I have made just so you can try an ridicule them.   Glad to see how pathetic you truly are.
