Title: Fracton 1.0.4 for the Macintosh
Post by: Nahee_Enterprises on September 13, 2010, 02:15:46 AM
Mike Frazier has recently made available the 1.0.4 version of his Fracton application:

Although a rather new program, there are several major features that make this quite interesting to the fractal community.  One very important aspect is the ability to use FractInt (http://www.Nahee.com/spanky/www/fractint/fractint.html) parameters, color maps, and formulas, which means hundreds of thousands of past images available for use within Fracton.

Mike has been busy over the past few days.  Just since my last posting on September 12, 2010, he has gone through version 1.0.5 (which added additional formula types).  And is now on version 1.0.6 with the ability to export models in the .OBJ file format, which is always a nice feature for any fractal application.
