Title: Re: Cheops fractal fly over Post by: Jesse on September 06, 2010, 02:44:33 PM Just wondering why the movie is so jerky, is it my slow computer or is there probably a problem with the animation rendering?
Nevertheless a nice fractal :) Title: Re: Cheops fractal fly over Post by: KRAFTWERK on September 06, 2010, 02:52:04 PM No jesse, not the rendering, it is not this jerky in the original file, can it be a keyframe problem?
I have a feeling that my animations gets jerky on youtube, might be something I do wrong in the export from Photoshop? Title: Re: Cheops fractal fly over Post by: hobold on September 06, 2010, 03:12:02 PM I think the unsteady motion is caused by a resampling along the time axis, i.e. frame rate conversion. I guesstimate that there are around five jumps per second, so this could be the difference between PAL 25 fps and NTSC 30 fps. Make sure that the whole processing chain, from creation over photoshopping to final encoding uses the exact same frame rate.

But I only do ONE export from PS at 25 fps, could it be that youtube changes this framerate? O0 Title: Re: Cheops fractal fly over Post by: Power 8 on September 06, 2010, 07:28:35 PM Great!
