Title: Mandelbulb 3d
Post by: paolo on September 06, 2010, 12:05:00 AM
;D Is Mandelbulb 3d a 32 or 64 bit program? If it is just a 32 bit program, would a 64 bit version run any faster? Thank you very much for this wonderful program.

M3D is a 32 bit program, else it won't run on any non 64 bit system  :dink:

Unfortunately i have no 64 bit compiler and cannot predict if there are great speed advantages in 64 bit systems.
There are much optimizations in the 32 bit code, so i think without optimizations a 64 compiler would have to be very smart to give better results.  :)
