Stereoscopic Buddha

My first stereoscopic buddhabrot. This is what I tried:

c=(cr, ci)  z=(0,0)   iteration  starting coordinates
z=z^2+c   for iteration

cr*x is used as horizontal offset for left eye pixels
ci*x is used as horizontal offset for right eye pixels
and x is a scale factor (usually a small percentage of the screen width)

so cr-ci effectively becomes the parallax and cr+ci becomes a horizontal offset.

the effect is a Buddhabrot cloud that is strangely twisted in itself and has some kind of voluminous effect.

It isn't easy to take stereoscopic screenshots that people can work with nicely. Try one of these options:
-Save this as .jps image and watch in nVidia Stereoscopic viewer if you have nVidia's 3DVision or 3DVision Discover available.
-Try the cross-eye method with this (not sure if this will work on the image as the separation is large, it didn't help that my screen has 16:9 aspect ratio).
-Convert to anaglyph image using your favorite image processing software and use red/green or red/cyan glasses
-or adjust the horizontal distance with a paint program so it works with the cross-eye method.

Thanks, I appreciate the comment.

I think my next attempts will rotate the brot by 90 degrees (to the classical "Buddha" position) and use an aspect ratio of 3:4 per individual eye (6:4 for both frames combined). So I can provide more "image" within the 1200 pixel forum limit. So the total image will be 1200x800.
