Title: 3D Julia Post by: trafassel on July 04, 2010, 08:27:36 PM http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=0NH1WbmAukU
Formula is defined by formula21, additional I change x->y->z after each iteration (similiar to the idea of msltoe). Most time in my video, I try to change the parameters to bring the julia mappings into a 3D form. Its not the "real" 3D Julia Set because: * the corresponding mandelbrot set is mostly ugly * the julia mapings are very flat Its a good candidate for further explorations, because: * it contains the julia set on the surface * it has 3D fractal properties (always new details by zooming) The original formula can be found at: http://github.com/trafassel/Gestaltlupe/tree/master/settings/Public/Examples/IdesFraktal/ Name: JuliaBodyPainting.tomo Its my best video so far - please enjoy. I liked it a lot :) Title: 3D Julia Part IV Post by: trafassel on August 07, 2010, 09:29:49 PM Same formula, and again I was not able to raise the flat julia paintings in the 3. Dimension.
