   z^2 Mandelbulbs? I don't know why, but I don't recall them working this well in the past.... Perhaps it was the old formula..

  This is a quick "mistake" I just made...  I was moving the formula and it reset the "snakehead fountain" to 10 iterations.  Orbital coloring took from the last iteration (10) because it was set to take from iteration 11.  It cracked me up (thought I must have really cut and pasted badly):
