Title: Am Looking Fos Some Help.
Post by: sandilw on June 23, 2010, 09:52:28 PM
HI!

My name is Sandra and I design knitting patterns.  I specialize is Illusion Knitting and also Judaica work.  I'm desperately trying to graph out the Jewish Star of David and go up 2 more steps, so it becomes the Snowflake design that is known in the Fractal world.  Unfortunately, I'm having a great deal of trouble and am hoping someone can help me.

I've used the Star of David in some of my work, but this is totally new to me and I'm in no way math oriented... I'm in way over my head.  is there anyone that can help me figure this out?

THANKS!!

Sandra

What are you wanting out of the replies? Are you looking for a computer program that will graph it for you?  If so Xaos comes with a fractal snowflake built in as preset.

You can download it here:

I hope this is what you are looking for :)

I can help you out with snowflake type fractals, I have several of them.  Here is an example of a simple one:
