Title: Apophysis 7X Post by: Lee Oliver on June 18, 2010, 01:42:05 AM I heard good things about Apo 7x so I downloaded it and made some Julians. Tell me what you think of them. :)
:-\They seem to have lost some quality when I condensed them to 1024x768 :-\ (http://www.fractalforums.com/gallery/2/1787_18_06_10_1_33_28.jpeg) (http://www.fractalforums.com/gallery/2/1787_18_06_10_1_34_27.jpeg) (http://www.fractalforums.com/gallery/2/1787_18_06_10_1_37_42.jpeg) (http://www.fractalforums.com/gallery/2/1787_18_06_10_1_38_33.jpeg) Title: Re: Apophysis 7X Post by: M Benesi on June 18, 2010, 02:06:49 AM The second is super cool. Looks Machine like. The 2 surrounding it give me a slight headache due to the coloring... not that I don't do the same with my fractals. :D I like the last one (probably due to the cooler (as in color-temp) colors), except for the fact that it has that giant heart in it.

Title: Re: Apophysis 7X Post by: cKleinhuis on June 18, 2010, 10:42:25 AM the heart shape is cool, can you provide a link for the apophysis version you used !?
Title: Re: Apophysis 7X Post by: Lee Oliver on June 18, 2010, 03:37:39 PM I must warn you, this version is not from apophysis.org, but from a programmer on deviant art who improved on Apopohysis' programming.
Here's the link: http://www1.xyrus.clan-boa.com/content.php?page=apophysis Enjoy ;D Title: Re: Apophysis 7X Post by: Lee Oliver on June 27, 2010, 12:58:49 AM I just finished rendering this today. I am fairly happy with how it turned out. :)

How much time do you spend on one? An enquiring mind would like to know.. :) I don't know, I usually spend about a day or two working on one [off and on]. The first took 6 hrs. to render and the other two took 1.5 hrs. each. Title: Re: Apophysis 7X Post by: kram1032 on June 29, 2010, 07:34:03 PM That firey one (the first of the three) looks amazing! It looks like a million glowing worms, going around each other and burning all the land they touch on the way. (Not in the slimy sense of worms, of course^^) Or like flames in flames in flames :D |
