Title: Rainbow Trout
Post by: dbyrne on May 20, 2010, 03:59:05 AM
Created this flame with a scala program I've been messing around with.  I think it looks like a rainbow trout.  Hope you like it.

Spetacular!  I go fishing all the time, soo I can truly apreciate.  the other day Icreated a fractal that looked like the "pisces" sybol.  But it would not render. How did you do that?

You should be able to reproduce it in Apophysis or another flame program fairly easily.

Coordinates (xmin, xmax, ymin, ymax): -.75, .5, -.85, .40
Gamma: 4.0
Colors: Rainbow

FUNCTION 1
Weight: 0.5
Color weight:  0.0
Coefficients A-F: (-0.611536, -0.198789, 0.308349, -0.517899, -0.28474, -0.250627)
Variations: popcorn(1.0) , rings(1.0)

FUNCTIONS 2
Weight: 0.5
Color weight: 1.0
Coefficients A-F: (0.102329, -0.67052, 0.732627, 0.189097, 0.057882, -0.08797)

Thanks dbyne!  Once I figure out how I should be able to put your formula into Chaoscope.
