A talk with Ed Catmull, Pixar and Disney Animation Studios President :)

I'm not entirely sure, wether he knows himself, but he actually says, that a company needs to be unstable, to be successful.
Basically like a strage attractor :)
He also mentions self similarity, once.
(However, a computer genius like him probably knows about fractals, so he should know what he's referencing.)

chaotic formations tend to be very stable, e.g. the red dot on the saturn
but also soliton waves are extremely stable and chaotic:

Pixar kicks butt being surprisingly awesome all the time.
I love the humor in their shorts a lot.
I guess it is his humor , knowing to what he is referencing to.
