Title: 3D IFS Fractal Flame Animation
Post by: doncasteel8587 on November 13, 2006, 12:55:51 PM
These are some of the first animations I've been able to produce after major changes to the code.

They are produced with a Java3D application I wrote myself to run on SUN's SunGrid Compute Utility Grid. Render times are between 30 and 70 hours and each animation has 180 frames.

The Video format is MPEG 4 (same as electricsheep) you may have to download MPlayer to view them.

So here are several links of my latest animations with the new and imporved 3D IFS system.

LOL....

After over a year of coding this project from scratch, and more than a few people saying it couldn't be done.........

....................I just have to share the results.
