I like the grey as it is for contrast :) I like "Living Gold (http://makinmagic.deviantart.com/art/Living-Gold-160433539)" too but I'm fonder of this because I feel the formula itself is more "mine" even though Living Gold (http://makinmagic.deviantart.com/art/Living-Gold-160433539) is using my own method as well. The gray color just does not seem to go well with the rest of the image, even if it is just for contrast sake. It appears as if it is unfinished. I probably would have used something a bit more organic, such as anything from a brown to a darker green color.
