Formula: zn+1= c3+i + zn3 + c Link for bigger image: http://i.imgur.com/Ad6hk.jpg I have many more pics of this fractal if anyone is interested - there's lots going on in this one! Title: Re: Triangulum Post by: Pauldelbrot on April 21, 2010, 02:37:20 AM Both image and link don't work. The name i.imagur.com resolves to a machine that blackholes HTTP traffic. (It does not seem to respond at all, not even with an RST packet, when contacted on port 80.)

(It does not seem to respond at all, not even with an RST packet, when contacted on port 80.) Can't confirm that. I see the image, and the link works! I'm in the USA and using Firefox on Windows Vista, and also saw it on my Mac (running Firefox as well, on OSX 10.5.2). Maybe it's a problem on your end? Didn't try just the "i.imagur.com" because the rest works from here... Title: Re: Triangulum Post by: mjk1093 on April 21, 2010, 04:24:11 AM Both image and link don't work. That might be your problem. It works for me. I now see the image as well. It seems the problem is intermittent. You may still want to look into more reliable image hosting. (And I have been checking it on/off ever since.) And because nobody else has reported any problems with it, then that tends to make me think it is more a situation with your ISP connection. :dink: Title: Re: Triangulum Post by: David Makin on April 21, 2010, 10:40:48 PM Both image and link don't work. I guess it is one of those mysteries that will never have an exact explanation. |
