Title: initial messingabout with the new 'folding integer' formula in mandelbulb3d 1.4
Post by: kaini on April 13, 2010, 05:15:37 AM
i've been looking for a formula that integrates the organic elements of the bulb with the mechanistic elements of the box for ages... the 'bulbox' sometimes cut it, and the alternating formulae settings sometimes too, and negative box powers are interesting too -

but i really like the results i'm getting from this;

been getting weird chandeliery things with negative z multiplier and fairly thick z-slices...

this is an interesting variant of the formula!
