Post by: David Makin on March 19, 2010, 02:02:03 AM Hi all, since the "folding" modification worked so well I decided to try applying one of my own ideas as a general modification, first result: "Fruits of the Mandelbulb" (http://www.fractalforums.com/gallery/1/141_19_03_10_1_57_08.jpeg) The modification is IFS inspired and here effectively involves the mixing of 2 renders of the z^8+c Mandelbulb :) No shadows yet - am still updating the code :) |
