Name: Alien III
Date: March 2, 2010
Fractal: Mandelbrot
Location: Double Scepter Valley
Depth: Deep (32 decimals)
Min Iterations: 3233
Max Iterations: 8734
Layers: 1
Anti-aliasing: 3x3, threshold 0.10, depth 1
Preparation time: 10 minutes
Calculation time: 8 hours (2.5GHz dual-core E5200)
Notes:

With some code improvements, I no longer need to use multiple layers to generate fairly complicated gradients with many frequency components. This helps speed up deep and high-iter images with layered structures.
