Title: 3D Mandelbrot starfish

This is a 3D Mandelbrot set rendered in FractalWorks.

I got the coordinates from Ingvar Kullberg, in his "Chaotic series of fractal articles." This is his "SeahorseBarrier3"

This is pretty nice :)

Thanks Duncan for drawing it :) Sorry I'have not been here that very much :(

BTW, Stig Petterson has new wonderful formulas, Hexic an Heptic parameter spaces. All his formulas, as well as mine are included in the zip,

Recarding Hexics an Heptics, see my journals,

Some mysteries in Heptics are described in

Take care everyone and keep up the good work :)

@Duncan C: Cool image! I love it!

@Fractal Monster: Those hexic and heptic formulas sound fascinating. Have you considered also slicing through the Julibrot versions of these polynomials? That is, using the initial value of z as another complex parameter and slicing through it as well? I would be curious what it would look like..  :)
