Title: Hi there!

Hi, everyone!

I had some ideas for a generalization of the mandelbulb inspired by one of bib993's youtube videos, but I'm not much of a programmer. Has anyone tried extending things like z*tan(z)+c to 3-d? I have some ideas about how to do that, but I thought 'd check to see if anyone else has done it already.

Actually, kinda... yeah... see reply #42 on http://www.fractalforums.com/theory/ideal-3d-mandelbrot/30/ .

But it depends on how you want to define the tangent function for triplex numbers.

Thanks, Timeroot. I'll post my idea in that thread.
