^ -> Note: The starting image was an overhead polar shot of a "Boxed 4th power Mandelbulb",
(the lowest rosette of the formation),
and what the transform has done is to replicate itself twice
as it is stretched and morphed left and right.
The cause is using a fractional exponent (eg. 2.1, etc) in the J transform.
There is also an "epsilon" parameter that has other more localized effects on features.

Some Mandel/Juliabulb formulas also allow fractional powers in addition to that described above.
