Title: Hi from Germany Post by: beatrixwillius on July 10, 2017, 02:51:00 PM Hi,
I'm new here but not new to fractals. On my website at http:www.beatrixwillius.de (http://http:www.beatrixwillius.de) and at http://trixiwillius.deviantart.com (http://trixiwillius.deviantart.com) are images from KPT, Quadrium, Artmatic and Fractal Architect. Mostly I've doodled around. Now I want to learn to be a bit more active in creating my fractals. welcome "on Board"! You've got some nice fractal images on your website. I'm sure you'll find a lot of suggestions here for your own fractal art. I'm still fascinated by the "old-school" 2D Mandelbrot Set fractals which I first explored on an 8-bit home computer (C64) in the good old Eighties. To me it almost appears like a wonder that such complex and beautiful images can result from a simple formula like Z->Zē+C, combined with a very simple coloring method. Of course, as a software developer I only use my own fractal image generator, written in pure JavaScript (slow, but runs in any browser). :) More info and images on my website (http://www.stefanbion.de/fraktal-generator/) (mostly in German). These days with gpus the fractals are coming out faster and faster! being able to compute the pixels individually!
