Hello and welcome to the forums O0 I somehow missed your post in all the confusion that is life lately :sad1: Glad to see more long time fractal folks finding the place. As for what software I like best - quite a few actually... I, too, enjoy Mandelbulb3D (though I keep meaning to learn Mandelbulber if things ever calm down), and have UltraFractal, but rarely touch it. For Mandelbrot set stuff, try one of the new generation of Mandelbrot software that uses Perturbation to achieve speeds undreamed of back in the Fractint days! Good ones are MandelMachine, Kalles Fractaller and one other whose name escapes me at the moment (Apologies to that one and it's creators!). Chaoscope is still my favorite for Strange Attractors, and despite never making it out of Beta, and being quite unstable at times, I still love Mutatorkammer! Find it in our downloads section - it's ... different. Have fun exploring! |
