Title: Relatively new to here, my Buddhabrot Post by: aluminumstudios on February 15, 2010, 10:52:08 AM Hello!
I've been lurking here a bit and posted a bit here and there. I first became interested in fractals back in University in 1996 when I toyed with Fractint and wrote a little C program to draw mandelbrots. I didn't do anything for a long time after that, but my interest has recently been rekindled. I wanted to refresh my programming skills so I started writing a program to draw mandelbrots. I read about Buddhabrots and was immediately hooked, so that is the path my program took! Here is an image I rendered with my own software which is still very much a work-in-progress. (My web host is flaky, so if there is no image showing below, please hit reload and it will hopefully appear) (http://www.aluminumstudios.com/photography/photoblog/wmilberry-mandy46.jpg) Title: Re: Relatively new to here, my Buddhabrot Post by: Nahee_Enterprises on February 15, 2010, 11:49:43 AM I've been lurking here a bit and posted a bit here and there. Greetings, and Welcome to this particular Forum !!! :) I think all fractal applications are "very much a work-in-progress", since there is always something that can be done to improve them. ;) :D |
