Title: Mandelbulb 3d help
Post by: ksm17 on May 18, 2017, 10:12:29 AM
:embarrass:  I have had Mandelbulb for a while and I am still very new to it.  I have downloaded the latest version but there are only 6 formulas in it.  How do I get all the formulas into the new version???  Your assistance will be very much appreciated...

Hi Kathy (at least, I thank you are Kathy from DA? ;) ),

I think that what you think are the formulas are the tabs where you can load different formulas...
Under the tabs called Formula 1, Fo.2, Fo.3 etc you see a grey beam where you can find the actual formulas. If you hover your mouse over 3D and 3Da (escape time 3D), 4D and 4Da (escape time 4D), Ads (transforms for escape time formulas), dIFS (the first two are dIFS, the third transforms for dIFS) a drop-downlist will open where you can choose your formulas. You can choose 1 formula per tab, so you can combine a maximum of 6 formulas wit the 6 formula-tabs.

Have a look at Hal Tenny's beginners-tutorial http://sabine62.deviantart.com/art/Mandelbulb-3D-Tutorial-178699733 and there are also very good beginners-videos from Don Whitacker
