Title: (4K Video) Keep of the Deep--"Binary Fusion"--3D Fractal Animation Music Video
Post by: paigan0 on May 13, 2017, 01:14:08 PM
My latest 3D Fractal Animation Music Video (3D FAMV) is here and I'm very pleased with how it turned out. I rendered it at 1080p and then said "Let's not even waste any time. This should be in 4K!" So I put the 1080p version away unused and spent another week to make this 4K version (3840 X 2160, 16:9). Made with Mandelbulber v 1.21, OpenCL, on 3 graphics cards (1 GTX 1080, 2 980s).

Reflective water, reflective primitives spheres, all 4 lights, and a mclarekin OpenCL custom formula called FoldIntPow2. I call it "The Castle Formula."

The Sea Castle Fortress of the Quantum Wizards can be found far out in the Fractal Seas, in the Keep of the Deep.

Original music called "Binary Fusion" (Piano + Strings). 4K Fractal Animation Video made with Mandelbulber v 1.21 and formula Fold Int Pow2.

Adds: I've added all my fract file keyframes, the main fract file, the seamless background jpeg, and the formulas. Rock it out!

"Keep of the Deep" is apparently a unique phrase and combination of words that sounds awesome together, and is unique to my poor brain cells, according to the Googley. That's always awesome when that happens. Creation is the single biggest superpower that humans possess.

Our other superpower is sweating and our ability to run down every other animal on the planet, which are related superpowers for hunting. I always find it fascinating that we think our brains make us unique--and they do!--but most people don't know that we are also the planet's best runners. And sweaters--and we can carry a bottle of water with us and drink on the run. A human being can run down every animal on this planet--including horses and even dogs, unless it's in the Arctic where dogs can cool without needing to sweat. But I digress! :)
