Hi everybody
:thumbsup1:
I'm looking for info on creating animated mandelbulb movies within the mac os x platform.
Preferable in the form of an after effects plugin or script perhaps ?
Anyhows any info would be greatly appreciated.

Cheers
Matt

Welcome, mac user myself ;)

You should check out Subblues pixelbender-script

http://www.fractalforums.com/mandelbulb-implementation/mandelbulb-ray-tracing-plugin-for-photoshop-aftereffects-and-quartzcomposer/

I use it for still images, but you can use it in aftereffects cs4 It is GREAT!

Have a nice bulb experience!  O0

Unfortunately i'm using AE CS3 and Subblues PB script doesn't appear to work on this version.
Anything else I could try ?
I have the cinema 4D the 3d package would it be possible to create mandelbulbs with this perhaps ?

Sorry I cannot help you on that one, CS4 is needed for the pixelbender-script...

    Hi everybody
I'm looking for info on creating animated mandelbulb movies within the mac os x platform.

Greetings, and Welcome to this particular Forum !!!    :)

There are applications and ways of creating Mandelbulb images from within the MAC platform.....

But at this time there is nothing available for the specifics that you are limiting yourself to running under.  If you care to expand your methods from beyond what you have stated, then we may be able to furnish you some assistance in that area.    :)
