Post by: Rohnny Jottin on March 27, 2017, 11:04:42 PM Hello, I am just learning my way around Mandelbulb 3d and just discovered the Mutagen feature. As any Mandelbulb 3d user may well know, there's some interesting parameters/images/fractals one can generate using it. However, exporting the results seems to be non-functional on my Mac, neither command click, control click, nor option click call up the menu that provides the send to main editor command. Anyone one know if it is possible for Mac users to export from the mutagen to the main editor for Mac? How do you do it?

You may need to get a windows style mouse so you can "right click" on the thumbnail. They do work on a mac so long as they are usb. Good luck with it! So, you reckon it's just a hardware issue, not anything to do with say some things not functioning due to say for instance things being lost in translation through the Wineskin that MAndelbulb has to operate within in order to be run on OSX? Thanks for your help, much appreciated. Since my last mac was osx 10.4 or 5, I can't say for sure. Also, I never used any sort of wineskin wrapper and simply installed wine and ran the exe from within wine directly. So it may be either, or something wholly other. I do know that when I ran wine and I used that style mouse, all context menus popped up with a right click. So hopefully you have one laying around, or can borrow one, to test it without having to buy one. Good luck and let us know how it goes! I'll see how much I can get a mouse for and try it. I could use a mouse for other purposes, but seems a bit strange that command click doesn't work as a right click and that a Windows mouse would. Really want to use that Mutagen function tho, so I'll give it a whirl thanks so much again.

If I had to venture a guess, I'd say it has to do with the crazy way the program is cobbled together from bits of Delphi and straight Assembler Language. It was never meant for a mac and may be less forgiving of many things. But honestly, I have no idea! Let us know how it goes.
