Title: Apophysis Plugins
Post by: pswanson on March 25, 2017, 08:26:14 PM
Although there are many plugins available for Apophysis, I would like to be able to create my own.  I have a background in physics and math, and I also enjoy computer programming.  I have carried out an internet search on software packages that can be used to create these plugins.  This search has revealed that Microsoft's Visual Studio has been used to create them.  Are there any other programs that can be used to do this because Visual Studio is fairly pricey.

Visual Studio is free since a couple of years, when I remember right (I'm not using it, but did use it some years ago).
If you prefer Java (which offers multiple free IDE's), you could also join the JWildfire development: https://github.com/thargor6/JWildfire

Cheers!
