Title: Re: Perpendiculus Burning Ship Post by: pupukuusikko on March 19, 2017, 10:46:01 AM I had a go at the frag, very nice ^-^
However, I get just blank screen in brot-mode. Maybe the lines z = Plot(z) + c; should be z = Plot(z+c); ? Title: Re: Perpendiculus Burning Ship Post by: Dinkydau on March 19, 2017, 03:07:35 PM Nice
Title: Re: Perpendiculus Burning Ship Post by: 3dickulus on March 19, 2017, 06:11:05 PM ty, ty, ty all :D I take no credit for the code, it all comes from bits and pieces of pre-existing code or posts here on FF (the best place to learn about math and fractals) @pupukuusikko z = Plot(z) + c; is correct. You can replace Plot(z) with cSqr(z) or cMul(z,z) to test if the Plot function is correct for Power=2.0 if you see all black then you might need to zoom out or check some other setting like InvertC or Stalks(in/out) or Power=1 , all of the presets should show a nice image. Inverting can cause the fractal to explode beyond the viewing area or shrink to a very small area depending on your settings. |
