Title: Tweak for tglad fold
Post by: mclarekin on January 20, 2017, 12:15:31 PM
AboxFoldTweak.frag.

If I have coded it into a frag correctly, the  tweakScale.xyz works like this:

<0 deforms more
0 should be standard tglad fold
0  to 1, should scale to a parabolic
>1 should deforms most around the limits

I will add some charts :)

Use it with tweak start/stop at iiteration count int's.  Normally start at 0, stop at  maybe 7 max.

The  charts have  x on horiz x' vert.

Have not really tested it out.

In the future I might test the maths on the other linear fold types, and have controls to vary the tweakScale while iterating.

Top one was tweak scale 1
next on was tweak scale -1

the one below tweakscale = 2

These show the tweak results.  The first one has tweakScale's   0.1, -1.0, 0.6    and the next    0.1, 1.0, 0.6.  The difference in this example is made by tweaking  only  the   tweakScale.y    parameter from  1 to -1.

Set at 1.0 the rows of humps are smooth
Set at -1.0 the humps are dip away rapidly.

All the fine detail in the middle of the images, morphs about as you tweak.
