Title: Re: smooth mengerMod1 Post by: mclarekin on December 20, 2016, 09:15:11 AM Thanks Matt for finding the link. I lost all my bookmarks last week, now the TODO list lost forever ;D A lot of stress removed O0 I generally like zoom-able detail but this smoothing is cool, makes nice 1950 bakelite plastic images. Can be tweaked from no-smoothing to totally deformed. http://www.fractalforums.com/fragmentarium/help-t22583/ Title: Re: smooth mengerMod1 Post by: DarkBeam on December 20, 2016, 01:08:51 PM You mean melted menger sponge? An old formula I made... of course it is your MengerIfs but instead of max() I used a smoothed function three times :) ... too bad the result fractal loses a bit of symmetry at some point!Cool!
