Title: Zoom video?
Post by: BlackHoleyWhale on December 04, 2016, 07:12:15 PM
Ok so I have done a little digging around I have program Mandelbrot Machine.. it allows me to save a single image of each zoom; and a history of each iteration.

Is there a program or a quick/easy way to play each zoom sequentially for a video rather then piece together each pic in windows movie maker? :P

Yes, just scroll all the way down on the main toolbar, there is a movie renderer there.

@blackholey lol, you just started, expect a neverending story here, i assume you have not experienced depth like we had as conditions for this years competition, zoom of at least 1googool (100 zeroes) magnification where entry condition!

ill check it out.
I'm a bit confused on rendering the animation...
Its saying i need to open a .mma file?
And I'm not too sure how to set it up to make it work;  im guessing each frame is one "history" row (1 zoom) and the frame rate is per second? will be how fast it zooms thru?

EDIT: I'm stupid it says Step1 compute keyframe right there  >.>

EDIT 2: i did a test trial for the rendering video zoom thing.. eh it says 42 188 MiB  and when I hit render it just says "allocating disk space" at the bottom forever..how long can I expect it to take?  :'(

EDIT 3:  Ok, it rendered... took about 10 minutes. Um but when i go to play the .avi i get a error?  Cant play. Says extension incorrect or corrupt or file type unsupported?  :( :(

EDIT 4: Still no luck trying to resolve this.. I wonder what I'm doing wrong? I'm getting a 4 minute video, its only 720P resolution yet SOME HOW the size for the video is 60GB?  whats the deal yos?
