Lol, it is such an interesting experiment  ;D I think it is one of the only fully working, short  and clearly commented scripts of this type in existence. The other I remember is from David Makin for UF but I was never able to understand it  :'( and it is a very long code (also more generalized than this... But hmm... Not so helpful to read?)
I also found a 1995 pdf explaining this stuff in theory but I always prefer practical and working code :)
