Yes it is a very good website for fractals (As long as the images are large enough.)

People here should upload more fractals to gigapan ! It's very convenient for zooming

Unfortunately it's a really low quality zoom/resize operation (probably just bilinear), and anti-aliasing / image quality fetishists will see their carefully crafted images looking very different (either blurred or aliased / crunchy pixels).

Yes, quality can be an issue here. (I would rather look at the original images than the ones online.) Now that you mention it, maybe I should start applying anti-aliasing to my images. :)
But my images might be a bad example since they are rather small compared to all the other images on there. But it it is also noticable with other images.
