Title: Ki Post by: trafassel on January 21, 2010, 09:12:56 AM From Outside you see a path, which is a tower (or spine) from the inside view. The border between the inner part and the outer part (which is defined as set between 17 and 21 Iterations) is green.

Now I know where the "spine" is located... I cannot see the inside with pixelbender, so thanks for this nice animation! Title: HD version Post by: trafassel on January 22, 2010, 08:30:11 PM The same video in HD:

Title: Re: Ki Post by: KRAFTWERK on March 10, 2010, 11:41:17 AM NIce animation Trafassel... HAve you tried to do something similar into a minibulb?
(I know I am repeating myself over and over... booring, sorry! O0 ) Kind of like I did here; http://www.fractalforums.com/videos/flight-trough-the-inside-of-a-minibulb/ Title: Inside a Minibulb Post by: trafassel on May 11, 2010, 11:47:39 AM http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=2oqpBTJqNks
This one is for you, Kraftwerk. The second sequence starts from inside a minibulb. Title: Re: Ki Post by: KRAFTWERK on May 11, 2010, 12:26:00 PM Wow! I am honoured! Thanks! :)
There is something scary over your dark animations Trafassel. I guess it is here we are inside the minibulb? Title: Re: Ki Post by: trafassel on May 11, 2010, 12:41:42 PM Yes, and some seconds later there is a short sequence of the inside of a Minibulb of a Minibulb.
What scares you? Title: Re: Ki Post by: KRAFTWERK on May 11, 2010, 02:16:14 PM Heh, I dunno, they are dark, slow and an insight to the mysteriously unknown. :alien:
...but I like the dark mood in them! Your animations have a special feeling, keep on rendering Trafassel!!! I can see the mini-minibulb! J Title: Re: Ki Post by: KRAFTWERK on May 26, 2010, 12:43:15 PM As a "thank you" i did this Spine-image for you trafassel:

It makes fun to explore and zoom you image.
... best spine shot so far. Title: Re: Ki Post by: KRAFTWERK on May 27, 2010, 08:50:52 AM Thank you T, glad you like it!
We could call ourself The spine-explorer team O0 O0 Title: Re: Ki Post by: cKleinhuis on May 27, 2010, 10:51:52 AM i am having a deja-vu ?! ???
Title: Re: Ki Post by: KRAFTWERK on May 27, 2010, 11:06:20 AM i am having a deja-vu ?! ??? The double posting? :hurt: Sorry, wont happen again... ::) Title: Re: Ki Post by: trafassel on May 27, 2010, 12:57:22 PM And the best inside shot (so far) of the spine is created by Daniel White:

Title: Re: Ki Post by: trafassel on June 01, 2010, 10:59:28 PM Did you know, that you can use my program Gestaltlupe to do the job by yourself? (o.K., Mac Version is still buggy).
Title: Re: Ki Post by: KRAFTWERK on June 02, 2010, 08:43:54 AM No, I have missed that trafassel, where can I download it?
I can try it on both platforms... Title: Re: Ki Post by: trafassel on June 02, 2010, 09:33:48 AM The exe is available at:
http://github.com/trafassel/Gestaltlupe/tree/master/bin/ (Fractrace_0_8_mono.exe is compiled on Linux). ... and to use it on linux, you have to install mono. http://www.mono-project.com/Main_Page A pool of examples at: http://github.com/trafassel/Gestaltlupe/tree/master/settings/ Or you download the full source ("Download Source" Button), which also includes the settings and the binary. Warning: The GUI is ugly and there are lots of undocumented editable parameters ... and sorry, the is no documentation at all. Before you start rendering, you must activate the "Data" tab, Select "Computation" in the tree and set "Computation.NoOfThreads" to the number of processors on you computer. In most examples, i used 8 (and the value was saved in the project file). Another important parameter is: "Composite.Renderer". I have implemented 5 different renderer for post processing. 4 and 5 gives the best results, but needs lot of memory. Title: Re: Ki Post by: KRAFTWERK on June 02, 2010, 12:23:44 PM Thank you T! I will see if I can get it running on my VMWare Windoze... |
