Title: File sizes Post by: David on October 28, 2016, 11:32:18 PM I trying to work on an animation which would have a targeted file size of 4096 x 4096 with 4500 frames.
My render node has 32 gigabytes of ram and 4 terabytes of external drive. I keep getting "out of memory reduce image size" which doesn't make sense. What have I set up wrong. Title: Re: File sizes Post by: Sabine on October 28, 2016, 11:35:15 PM What program are you working in? Might be a software limit? If you're in MB3D, then there's a limit to the memory the program can actually use (2 to 3 GB) (more info in the Readme.html that comes with the program) Like you I have 32 Gb RAM, but I reach the limit at 8500x8500. If you are trying to render 4096px by 4096px, but use anti-aliassing (check your Animation Maker screen) of f.i. 3, MB3D will want to render 12288px by 12288px. Anti-alias of 2 should not be a problem. |
