Title: Fractal Colour Palettes Post by: petemaxi on September 29, 2016, 02:48:31 PM Hi, my name is Pete, and this is my first post, so I'm sorry if it's in the wrong place or anything.
I have always loved fractals, but as a Linux user, not really had as much choice as Windows users. The first fractal programme I used was on Windows and was called Winfract. I loved it! And what's more, there was a brilliant complementary piece of software for making palettes called Automatic Fractal Map Generator. Unfortunately, as I transferred over to Linux, these programmes did not. There are some great Linux fractal generators, but not palette generators, and I have found some of the built in palette editors a little mind boggling! So I decided to make a web based palette generator. It generates palettes for a few different fractal generators. I hope you like it, and there are links for feature requests and error reporting. Works like a charm! And welcome to FractalForums:) PS: I am not quite sure as I am rather new here myself, but maybe the best place to announce your map generator would be http://www.fractalforums.com/announcements-and-news/ (http://www.fractalforums.com/announcements-and-news/) |
