Title: database down due to logging #2

it happened again, 700 mb of logs deleted, now i have a time interval since last downtime to check regularly for those

it builds up over time, need to delete the logs on a regular base, fix log errors, or disable logging

If you are already using logrotate to maintain the logs you mst just edit the
rotate 14 # delete logs older 14 days
variable in the corresponding logrotate config
Maybe here: /etc/logrotate.d/apache2

it is the internal forums error logging which lands in the database. strangely enough i cant do anything about the errors most of them are plain warnings,. but stored in the mysql database which has a hard cap of 1 gig

can you set the log level to critical errors only so warnings don't produce a log entry?
