Title: Internationalization for Fragmentarium Post by: 3dickulus on September 18, 2016, 11:56:53 PM It only took a couple of days in my spare time to use Google to translate all of the English texts in the GUI to Russian but I have no idea if it's good or bad, I can only guess at language semantics and syntax
If you would like other languages for the GUI or have time to help out please post me a note indicating how you might be of assistance, proof reading, doing the translating, beta testing, etc... Neither am I a programmer. But I would like to help with translating. I can translate the program gui to Dutch, if I know how to do that. :)

So translated manual for beginners - it will be more actual. Need really basic things. Fragmentarium works even on IvyBridge GPU and theoretically, the number of users is increasing. I agree that most programmers probably understand English out of necessity just because of the code, compilers and documentation they have to work with. Qt provides a facility for locale aware GUIs and all of the tools to make them so for me this is a fun way to learn more about programming :D and maybe encourage others to explore math and fractals. For translations I can only accept a text file in the same format as the one I posted earlier, no .xml, no .doc, only .txt can you post the text only file? Then I was given a boost in Microsoft Office Word file and edited there. well, I reopened the file in a Microsoft Office Word and save as .txt Strangely, the file will be smaller than the original. Russian by SCORPION and Crist-JRoger German by Sabine62 coming soon... Dutch and Spanish I'm sure it will need some testing and maybe some adjusting, you can revert back to English by removing or renaming the Fragmentarium_*.qm files.
