Title: The Temples of Sphere Inks -- "Higgs Boson" + "Celestial Monks"
Post by: paigan0 on September 14, 2016, 10:42:06 PM
Here is my newest and best and most favorite 3D Fractal Animation Music Video (3DFAMV) called "The Temples of Sphere Inks" -- "Higgs Boson" + "Celestial Monks."

Music: I took two shorter original instrumentals that were part of the same thematic and sonic series, remixed them slightly, and put them together. The resultant mashup is called "Monks of the Temples of Sphere Inks." It's a mixture of samples and MIDI drums using Battery 3 (and now Battery 4) from Native Instruments, and some 6-string guitar, and some keyboard synthesizer lines. I no longer remember what was a sample and what I played, because I had turned it all into samples and loaded it into Native Instruments Maschine. I then ported it all back to Pro Tools to remix it, with each sample on a different track. Add EQ after EQ after EQ and more studio tweaking and then export to mix with the fractal video.

Video: 30 Frames per second at 1920 by 1080 HD. Data rate was around 90 MBs/second H264 codec and then YouTube compresses it down to like 3 or 5 MBs per second. Vimeo is better, and you can download the original 3 GB video at 4:24 from Vimeo if you like and would really like to see these looking the best.

I'm using Mandelbulber OpenCl v 1.21 with my 3 video cards (2 MSI 980s and a new 1080). Formula is a custom job made by mclarekin called "MBoxZ_ZScale with Benesi T1 Option." This is the formula and world that went into the series "The Temples of Sphere Inks" and I have been dying to do a flythrough of this world ever since I saw what awesome still frames it made.  I ran 250 frames between keyframes and had 34 total keyframes and master images, that once rendered at 250 frames between, gave me the 8600 total jpegs that made this movie.

The music and the video sync up very nicely! There were many happy moments of synchronicity, like when you mash Dark Side of the Moon with Wizard of Oz.  :fiery:
Cheers!
