Title: Escape Time Julia Field Line Experiment...
Post by: Chris Thomasson on September 05, 2016, 02:54:06 AM
A crude try at plotting individual field lines in a Julia and/or Mandelbrot set... The and/or means we can dynamically switch up the algorithm, and the field lines follow it! :^)

Nice. Could you show the static image  for c=0 or video from c= 0 to c=0.26 ?

Thanks Adam. I can do this.

I just rendered a power of 2 Julia set of origin point (0,0) for you, and posed it here:

I will create a video showing an interpolation between julia (0,0), to (.26,0).

BTW, I seem to always have a nice time reading all of your excellent information you have published to the web; Very nice!

Thank you!  :^D

Here is the end point of (.26,0):

You want me to interpolate between these two points, and create an animation, right?

Check out this zoom on the border of the Julia point zero. This is centered on point (0, 1), right on the top of the unit circle:

Thank you Adam!

Looks like some kind of metallic wall decorations you used to see everywhere, for a short period many decades ago.

I did a very crude animation from .26 to .4. Now, I need to add a zoom on those chaotic regions. Sometimes, they look like some weird particle accelerator collisions.

This one has equipotential lines as well...  ;)
