I have in my desktop the version 1.89, 1.90 and 1.91. I'm currently using most of all the 1.90, which features the very cool Mutagen, but if I want to create a mesh I use the 1.91. So I would recomend the 1.90.

Hello and welcome to the forums   O0

Sadly, 64 Bit makes no difference with MB3D  (just so you know the real abbreviation for MandelBulb 3D is - I'm not sure what MD3D would be!) since it is a native 32 bit program.  The only advantage is that it can use fractionally more RAM and may run a little faster, but it can't take advantage of the full 64 Bit stuffs that make it so much better than 32 bit systems.

That said - use whichever version you are most comfortable with using!  Very little difference exists between them so far as functionality goes.  The latest version is unfortunately the last one for the foreseeable future as development has stopped, with the possible exception of a mood swing from Andreas  (thargor6)  the man with the crazy programming skills who picked it up when it's original creator put it down.

As for tutorials, just search youtube.  There are many.  There are also many here, but they tend to focus on specific features and a broad, general, introductory tutorial may be harder to find than one that is a bit more focused.

Is there something specific you have a question about?

It's easier to help with specifics than generalities.

Hope that helps.  If not, feel free to ask more!

I really wonder how to enter for example the parameters of http://mandelbulbers.deviantart.com/art/Midsummer-Dream-620094584
into MD3D 191 (http://[http://orig05.deviantart.net/9e7a/f/2016/204/8/7/new_m3d_by_lior_art-dab4c38.jpg) because it's a new interface so I don't find the icon that gives me the possibility to past those parameters.
On an older version it looks like (http://orig11.deviantart.net/5fa8/f/2015/095/9/c/way_faster_gnarl_formulas__sample_params__by_dark_beam-d8oizdi.png) I can see the icon I can past the parameters but on the latest version I really don't find this icon.

Thanks for your help :)

Lior

Thank you very much SCORPION :)
I made what you did but I got the basic fractal without this background image.
On this image (http://mandelbulbers.deviantart.com/art/Midsummer-Dream-620094584) how the original blue background is
replaced by an image?

Thank you for your help :)

Clior, it may help to actually read the readme.txt file... That will tell you how to add background images in M3D. Ah well, I'm in a good mood ;-) Go to Lighting -> Back Pic -> Select your favorite sunset.
