Title: Deep view Post by: JColyer on January 09, 2010, 09:57:55 PM Here's a deep view into a degree 8 (-sine) mandelbulb-julia (-0.52734375, 0.21484375, -0.4296875). This shows the area right around the basin of attraction and it's preimages. This represents about 10% of the volume of the entire basin. Blue represents areas with shorter orbits and goes to red which indicates longer orbits.
Title: Re: Deep view Post by: JColyer on January 10, 2010, 02:53:37 AM two more images, same set up as before, but looking at the previous images next two neighbors - headed towards the interior of the set - so these images represent the activity around the basins of julias that are becoming more stable. I personally think they take on a more fluid like appearance. The last image in particular makes me think of non-newtonian fluid on a speaker. First image (-0.5078125,0.21484375,-0.4296875) second image (-0.48828125,0.21484375,-0.4296875). All images generated at 6 iterations. |
