A Supernova Julia set. Blues go to infinity; gold goes to the zero attractor. The latter basin uses two layers: besides the obvious smoothed iteration layer, there's a layer that gives the subtle 3D effect by shading pixels lighter or darker by their orbits' minimum distance from a selected point near the basin boundary.
