I discovered this nice automata yesterday!

:dink: Ants can do Sierpinski's gaskets, fill squares...

There are also strange "3d" extensions of this cool automata concept.

There is also a great Android app that plots those fun automatas I suggest you to download it (just search Langdon and you find it).

Just and an arkanoid ball if would be into infinity board fully with brick, his trajectory have same shape like the Langston's ant if this ball rebounding by each brick destroyed.

Also a system of crystals with the progresive crystalisation can take shape like the Langston's ant with solid covery.
