Maybe I missed something (as a forum newcomer),but for a few days I can not assign ratings to pictures anymore,and in the gallery I can´t
see the number of views or ratings.The sections "Most viewed" and "Top rated"are missing.Can someone please explain the reasons?

I think the inability to rate images is a mistake on the part of our Admin when disabling the ability to see ratings and number of views.  We disable the ability to view those during our Annual Competition to keep the contest as unbiased as possible.

It may be that rating images in the contest is disabled intentionally until the submission period ends and the voting begins, which is done via ratings.

I'm not sure which, but it is almost definitely related to the competition and limiting the ability to see the views/ratings until it is over.  If an image has very high or very low numbers in either of those, it could influence the way other people vote and we like to keep it as fair as possible.

Not sure why you can't rate a non-contest image though...  Unless - are you trying to rate an image in the contest, or a "regular" gallery image?

Sorry I don't have a more comprehensive answer, but that is at least a start until the Admin can look into it and reply.

First I have to thank you for your quick reply.The reasons for disabling the rating are easily comprehensible.
Second:I tried to rate a "regular" picture.

since the gallery is not really meant for holding competitions it has not a feature for disabling particular informations just for one section, this is the situation, for the next 2 monthes no view and rating information should be seeable in the gallery
